Notes: 1 FLAC / 2 CDR - Seeder's Notes: Excellent audience recording for the era, and one of the earliest DAT recording in America that I'm aware of. A small group of tapers imported DATs from Japan during summer of 1989, so I'm assuming one of them made this recording (there is a spring 1990 Clapton show from Atlanta done by this group). The fidelity is remarkable for this era -- this would be a good DAT recording even by today's standards. The high end sounds a touch harsh to my ears, but I left it alone. This could be a function of either the hall or the (unknown) cassette generations. Unfortunately, the Cold Shot/Couldn't Stand The Weather segue is faded out on my cassette and back in on the B-side; I don't have enough skill to improve on it, but I think there is enough duplicated music to splice them together if someone wishes. This show was part of his co-headlining tour with Jeff Beck; I believe he sits in on the second encore. There is a brief gap during the encore break (I placed track 4 of disc 2 here); I assume the taper was using 60-minute DATs. No music is lost.
