Notes: seeded by: xdx {[email protected]} This was a benefit show the band played 3 months prior to the release of Siamese Dream. I imagine the band had just finished the album, as it was recorded in Triclops Studios, also in Atlanta. Very cool show, rarities such as Hello Kitty Kat and Frail and Bedazzled are played. There is also some funny banter from Billy "whatever you hit me in the face with.. that's being donated to charity too!" and "this song is dedicated to assholes like you, I hope you fucking die!" If anyone has a better copy or can remove the awful hiss, please do and put it on the hub! It's really great to hear the band right before they got "big", I love Soma and Drown here. On an interesting note, this may be the only show during the 1993-1994 era that Today was not played (unless by some strange reason it was an encore, but all copies of this show apparently have Silverfuck cut after a few seconds; see spfc.org)

Notes: Don't know what to say about versions or upgrades or any of that stuff, I'll leave that for someone else to decide. Plain and simple, this sounds 10 times better than the other AUD version a friend let me hear of it, the one that I suppose commonly circulates. Is this the "definitive" source? I have no clue. What I know is: 1. I'm almost finished with the DVD of this show from Haylo's (you rock!) VHS copy. 2. This just sounds so much better than the other AUD. 3. Many of the serious traders in the Pumpkins (and others') scene see me as the devil. That may be true, but even evil takes a break once in a while. I respect your objectives, and I'm sympathetic to your cause, and here's an opportunity to show that. So here is this clearly better source stripped from the vid in sweet lossless. But to add to it, I have done absolutely nothing to it, except to level out the heavily unbalanced left side. Yes, straight as I transferred it, no EQ, no maximization, nothing. A pure better source of a really fine show. Unfortunately, "F&B" is cut on the VHS, so I filled it in with the other AUD. At the least is shows the smack-in-the-face difference between the two sources. And very soon, the DVD, which will of course feature my devilish handywork.
