Cherub Rock (5:21) * w/ Padgett's Profile teases (~13:00 mark) Studio Z is an old venue in San Francisco with a big stage set in the corner of the room tothe left far end of the room from where the entrance is. Because of the corner setting, the stage presents to the room as the hypotenuse (sp?) of a triangle, so the only way that Joel could set up had him with his back to the audience. My Crown PZM was actually set on the floor at the middle point between the edges. The other mics, CM-700MP Crowns, were set on stands in front of each PA main. This show was billed as a post Phish all-night show, and later, during the Slip closing set, Mike Gordon showed up to play bass on a tune or two. | |||||
