Notes: Recorded by Roy Martin from the arena main floor - probably 16th row or so - onto MiniDisc using a set of Sound Professionals Premium Binaural microphones. Transferred from original master MDs in October 2010 while drinking Goose Island brew. Playback on Sony MDS-JE510 (optical out) -> optical/coax converter -> Microtrack 24/96 (44.1kHz WAV) WAVs transferred to my hard drive using a card reader. Cool Edit Pro employed for misc. fades and a couple minor edits. No EQ was performed. Salt & pepper to taste. During the concert, I chose a bad time to swap MiniDiscs. Thus, I lost the first 45 seconds of "Badge" (which begins disc 2). To repair this, I took the first 45 seconds or so from my recording of the next night (July 25th, 2001) and edited to the beginning of D2. The edit is noticable, but "Badge" is just too good of a song to allow it to remain as it was. I also noticed occassional, tiny silent gaps. I believe this was caused from a brief loss of signal as I would periodically check the MiniDisc recorder. A dirty input jack might've also been the culprit. Whatever the cause, I did notice a few and removed them using Cool Edit Pro. I might've missed some. Please don't let this prevent you from enjoying a decent capture. Large WAVs split using CD Wave Editor. SBEs corrected using Trader's Little Helper ("-fixed" removed from filenames). Encoded to FLAC (Level 7) using Trader's Little Helper.
