Notes: source: audience - generation: unknown Cass(?) > HIFI Stereo Philips > SBLive > WAV > CEPro > WAV > CDWave > WAV > CDR(0) released by Mr. Pinky notes: same length and cuts as the circulating "British Winter Tour Vol. II" which has a little difference in speed and was retouched with NR. this is a genuine rough rip: the fading in/out is as on the tape as well as the cuts; no NR used. the tape has several anomalies and is quite hissy but the actual sound results much crispier than versions currently in circulation, if you’re an authentic RoIO fanatic you cannot not appreciate this. probably an uncut version of this recording does exist though it seems to have been never circulated.. do not remaster this, please. _______________________________________________________________ original cassette provided by Mr. Pinky: ... mind that this tape was (mis)labelled as 74-11-08

Notes: "British Winter Tour 74 Vol 2" CD Reference: Newcastle 9.11.74,British Winter Tour 74 Vol 2 Comments: Standard 1974 setlist. I wouldn't really attach much importance to this show other than it's an early You Gotta Be Crazy. Sound is not great, performance is nothing to write home about.

Notes: Pitch adjusted by billy1 (converts to 2 audio discs) Lineage:FLAC (24bit/96kHz) > 32bit Wave (Izotope RX2) > Adobe Audition 3 > 16/44 (Izotope RX2-MBit+) I've had this for over two years, but never posted it because I noticed someone had beat me to it. Having listened to the other 16 bit version I felt parts had been undercorrected pitch wise and there were other problems that hadn't been addressed. Other than pitch adjustment I removed the odd click and bump; fixed a multitude of little drop outs in You Gotta Be Crazy; raised the volume of Us And Them thru Any Colour You Like (reduced increased hiss slightly by eq); patched the opening of Brain Damage with the extra bit present on the Mr Pinky? version; patched the end of Echoes, again via Mr Pinky; tracked it all for CD. Anyway, a much better listen now imo. I like the version of You Gotta Be Crazy and what I think is a storming Echoes (one of the last saxless versions) where they play like they have a bus to catch.
