Notes: Analog Ambient Recording by Moke and Tom Tech TFH — A Journey to the Impact Zone From audience-right side of tables in front of stage, below right PA stack. Tom Tech twiddlin’ the knobs and tending tape - Mics on Moke - TFH tag team stylin’ July 2017 transfer to 24.48: Master Cassette -> Sony TC-D5M no n.r. playback -> Tascam DR70D 1/2 TRS @ 24bit 48khz Light edits, joining tapeA/B sides, fades, in Sound Studio FeltTip software Done by Moke on 2017-07-16 Edit Notes: ~ Overall HPF pass, steep slope, at 75hz due to awful bass distortion in the hall. It sounds like brickwalling, but was just overloaded bass in the hall (and probably a fair amount of brickwalling too). The HPF pass was to lessen the crunch. ~ normalized entire recording as a single file. ~ There were lots of hard cuts in this recording at tape flip points, with some song lead-in’s being truncated. So, there are fades between tape flips and changes. My partner Tom, and I, had just met a couple of months prior to this, and, this is one of our early TFH efforts, with many more to follow. Please and thanks for bearing with this one, and all of its warts and bumps.
