Anyway, again, I don't know much about studio tapes, but this is the Steve Albini mix and sounds much better than either of the bootlegs I've heard. It appears to be from the same tape lineage, but just lower generation... same weird wobbling / phasing sound in the high end. I tried my best to get the speed right on this, but it was ALL over the place. Everything should be somewhat close now (be sure to take the speed into consideration when comparing against other sources). Hopefully this is something of use. I have a feeling this might be one of the best sources for the non-In Utero Albini songs (the tape weirdness pretty much goes away on side b of the tape, where all of them are). | |||||

The EQ has been left intact as it appears on the LP. There was no attempt to remove rumble and hiss. These problems are very minimal anyhow since the LP pressing was of high quality.
