The performance featuring these 2 TJ Kirk alums occurred at the Center for New Music and Technology at UC-Berkeley, California. The show that evening was primarily centered around experimental solo electric guitar sets by both Will Bernard and John Schott, who were utilizing new looping, effects and surround sound technology developed by CNMAT. This acoustic duet between Will and John, presented here as filler on a single track, was intended as a "pallette cleanser" and was performed after John's electric set and just prior to Will's. It seemed like a spur of the moment decision, and they wound up deciding to play "Stompin' at the Savoy" and "Green Chimneys" Recording source for the filler is Sony ECM959A stereo mic (at performers' feet, they were unamplified) > D7 by J. Weber ------------------------------------------------------------ FLACs converted and seeded by Jon Weber, May 2004
