Notes: Wow! A rare and very cool find! When Pink Floyd's "Echoes" was first released, MTV2 played the entire album synced up to video footage. It aired on MTV2 right after the release of the "Echoes - Best Of Pink Floyd" collection, and it puts videos to all the tracks on the record in order. The track list is exactly the same as the "Echoes" album release. The compilation spans the career of Pink Floyd from their first single "Arnold Layne" in 1967, through to "High Hopes", the final track from their 1994 studio album "The Division Bell". It was also the first album released on CD that includes "When the Tigers Broke Free", which appeared in the film version of "The Wall", though the song did later appear on the 2004 re-release of "The Final Cut". The videos are quite humerous at times, ranging from what looks like a very simple Windows screen saver (no doubt very effective for those suitably influenced!!) through to collages made from a huge range of footage of the band, from many eras, all thrown in hodpodged together. I do not have the 18 minutes of interviews at the end, just the album in its entirety. There is an advertisement for "Echoes" album at the end, however. This is a rare find and fantastic stuff. Thanks so much for the bomb Andy. I'm gonna get you, brother!!
