Notes: EXCELLENT soundboard recording from the beginning of Journey's 1983 Frontiers tour. Did some research on this one - according to the knowledgable folks at the "Digital Journey Experience" website, this show was taped in case their other Japan show that was taped for FM radio didn't come out sounding right. In other words, this was a backup show. This is the complete show, and it sounds freaking awesome! They open with a smokin' "Chain Reaction" and go without pause into "Wheel In The SKy" then "Line Of Fire". But probably the best part of this show is next - just look at the line up of "Send Her My Love", "Still They Ride", and "Open Arms"! "Still They Ride gives me chills when Steve does it live - IMHO the only slow song he does better is "Mother Father" off the Escape tour. Neal Schon takes the vocals next with his song "Lies". The encore also rocks - first of all they do a 5 song encore!!!! Second, they start the encore with my all time favorite Journey song "Escape", then go right into "Seperate Ways". I'm telling you, this show kicks ass! I just can't say enough about this show! This is the classic Journey line up - Steve Perry, Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain, and Steve SMith. Probably my 2nd favorite Journey boot I have (after the Live From Houston Escape Tour show). Please rate if you like and ENJOY!!!!

Notes: Journey, in all their leather pants, sweet, sappy songs glory. This is Journey, just the way you like them.
