After track 17, a huge birthday cake was rolled out and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to REM's manager, Jefferson. That portion is missing from this 1st gen copy. But you won't notice a cut, because I blended it seamlessly. If you don't have this R.E.M. in your collection, than this will make a nice addition. I believe the master tape has never been circulated, though Rich believes it still exists. This 1st gen is the next best copy. A big thanks goes out to Rich for sending me his tape to work on and share. For this being a hand held walkman recorder, it's very listenable. I added in a photo of the cassette j-card.
