One of two things happened, 1) SPL levels were too much for the CMC-8's or 2) Bass roll-off on the SP-SPSB-3 was not set high enough. Either way, this means what.... bass distortion. Yep, that's right. It is still listenable, and people say they like it a lot, but I just am not happy with it. The vocals sound great, but the bass was so overwhelming at this show, it took a ton of work just to get it sounding reasonable.
