TOTALMETALDVD (5/5) DVD / 1 A- View   AUD SHOT - STANDALONE MENU
Notes: Very good quality show shot from left of center above crowd level. A tad grainy but nice mix of shots and decent audio. Also includes the whole Donahue 95 show (which is funny as hell, see my rant below for a laugh!) and an interview from 2000 on muchmusic. ____________________________________________________________________ Rant time: Ok, this just makes me laugh out loud... Ya know it's funny how everyone was sooo worried about metal artists in the 80s and 90s & they thought it was gonna corrupt society. Funny thing is, that the fans of these kinds of bands are for the most part contributing members of society today & even then would help an old lady across the street. All the while, creeping up on the parents of the same generation was rediculus RAP crap that was going to do way more harm then metal ever did! Now people like me, who grew up listening to Exodus, Venom & Slayer are tons more levelheaded and wouldn't steal & rob someone as our concience wouldn't let us. But the kids that grew up listening to rap, have this whole I'M GONNA TAKE WHATEVER I WANT, AND DO WHATEVER I WANT & STAB ANYONE IN THE BACK THAT GETS IN MY WAY, MY OWN PARENTS INCLUDED attitude. This is why even the smart kids that had a good home & proper upbringing are all in jail or pregnant ny the time they are 13 - 18. I just found it funny how the old ladys were freaking out about Manson on this TV appearance and I thought, in this same time period, one of these mothers would breath a seigh of relief if their daughters started listening to that instead lol.

Notes: Audience shot, center. Picture quality on this show in my opinion is fantastic. Nice and close, and clear for the most part. Audio on this is a touch brickwalled, and a touch wavey. Still a must have show. "Sweet Dreams" has a small glitch. Also on this DVD as extra's are the Phil Donahue show, in full, and a much music interview from 11/17/2000. Concert Runtime: 63 minutes Total DVD runtime: 122 minutes
