Notes: BEN HARPER And The Innocent Criminals 7/11/98 WORLD MUSIC THEATRE Tinley Park, IL Horde Festival 55min Recording Info: DAT MASTER Sony D7 DAT @48khz Mics: Neumann SKM 140 (Active Cardioid Caps with B&K Windscreens) > Audio Magic Cables > LUNATEC V2 with Bass Roll-Off set at 50hz. Mics were mounted about 10' high FOB in ORTF in the Pavilion. I was almost dead center with the stage about 32 rows back. Transfer: DAT MASTER digitally transfered > Tascam DA30 MKII Pro Dat Deck > HHB CDR-800 via AES/EBU > Apple G3 with xACT FLAC Conversion (Level 8). #1 Oppression/Get Up Stand Up #2 Ground On Down #3 Faded #4 The Will To Live (The Pa goes out for a few seconds) #5 Excuse Me Mr. #6 Roses From My Friends #7 Like A King > #8 I'll Rise Show notes: This was my very first recording done with the new Lunatec V2 Pre-Amp. Grace Designs sent out all of their pre-ordered Lunatec V2 amps just several weeks prior to this show. There was one other mic stand in the pavilion. I didn't see very many tapers at this show. The Pavilion was VERY windy, so I had the B&K screens on the active caps. I used a 50hz cut on the Lunatec because the World Theatre is VERY Boomy. Anyhow..Hope you dig. The Tape Junkie
