| Notes: | by hothcanada on dime 27th Nov, 2010 : "This is a new transfer I did from a low gen ntsc svhs tape & looks better than the previously shared edition - Imo, it's also lower gen than the previous best dvd copy I had of this found on the compilation, "Sick Things" (MCP-AC2). The audio was trashed on the svhs tape. It was replaced with a better sounding (but still noisy) source we picked amongst the handful of copies I had of this show." | Notes: | Alice Cooper Dead Babies Film & French TV '72 MPEG2 720x480 NTSC 2.0 Dolby Unknown Gen VHS>PhilipsDVDR75>MacTheRipper 5 min auto-chaptered VG+ quality for 1972, the French TV Special is in B&W and has a timecode. This is one of the longest concert excerpts that exists with the original band (French TV). The Dead Babies Film is a short "Who IS This Guy Calling Himself Alice?" type deal...a live clip shows the doll being hacked up and he is summarily hanged. Actually he visits the gallows for a second time in the French TV Special, so you get to see it in Color and B&W !!! Lots of great stage antics including the Streetfight in Gutter Cat, snake handling, and an early performance of Elected. The comments in the first post had the dates and venues, if that kind person could reiterate that info that would be great.
