Transfer (Track 01): Cassette (Type I, West German fan club issue?) > Onkyo TA-RW313 > Pioneer PDR-509 > Maxell Music Pro CDR > Soundblaster Audigy SE > WAV > FLAC > WAV > Wavelab (pitch correction, fades, tracking) > FLAC(8)
Transfer (Tracks 02-20): CD (Heros of Danzig) > Pioneer DVR-108 > iTunes 6.0.5 > AIFF > xACT 1.58 > FLAC > WAV > Wavelab (tracking) > FLAC(8)
After downloading crematia13's recent torrent, I realized I already had a copy of this show with significantly better sound quality, sourced from a (silver?) bootleg CD, 'Heros Of Danzig'. However, crematia13's tape included a track not on the 'Heros' cd, the first track, 'Halloween'. The pitch didn't match, so I matched 'I Turned Into A Martian' from the two sources and adjusted the pitch of 'Halloween' accordingly. I also added a quick fade-in to the beginning of 'Halloween' and a quick fade-out after 'We Are 138'. The tricky part was the transition because the bootleg starts off rather abruptly... its not perfect but I think it turned out pretty good. I also had to re-do the tracking for everything to avoid creating a sector boundary error or messing up a track transition... .it worked out for the best because the tracking on the 'Heros' cd was horrible anyway! Thanks to crematia13 and the original seeder of the 'Heros' CD. Enjoy! - stevetrash |
