| Notes: | Woo Hoo! My 900th show, and what a pocket rocket! As my good mate Ed put it, "Remember when Billy was thin and could rock the f@$#! out?!!". Well this is it! BBC pro-shot TV, recast on Japanese Digital Satellite TV with a Japanese presenter doing the introduction. This is early Billy at its best! He is on fire on the piano, chatty yet still humble, and plays a fantastic set. Too short for my taste, but oh, so sweet! Great to see Billy light up a cigarette (low budget - they couldn't afford smoke machines back then!) to get the mood set for "New York State of Mind"! Billy's voice and piano playing are in top form, despite the cigs. Great to compare the artists in this show, including Billy, with their more current selves in the later DVDs I have! :) Liberty already had his bald patch in this one! A personal favorite, this is hot stuff! Thanks Dave! | |||||
