Wow, what a great show, this is the 3rd time I've seen Pearl Jam and everytime it just gets better and better. They played for 2.5 hours and it was great. The light show wasn't spectacular or anything and I didn't even realize it until after, I was just so focused on watching this amazing band jam their asses off, it seemed like they we're jamming/extending out almost every song. Lots of great solo's in this show.
Ed makes lots of comments about U2 throughout the night, thanking them, praising them, drinking with them etc. At the end of the night during RITFW Bono came out
and sang with them, aparently Eddy had done the same on Saturday night at one of the 4 U2 shows in Toronto last week. There were a bunch of covers as well. Hide Your Love Away, Leaving Here, RITFW and great version of Harvest Moon (another Neil Young tune). It was a great night all around! |
