Notes: High-quality audience recording Remastered August, 2007 by TheTooleMan Lineage: unknown 1st gen tape (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=135963) Sound Forge -> FLAC Thanks to Mesquite for the original seed! This is a high-quality recording , much better than that of the first night in Detroit but Yes sounded like they needed a laxative. Turned out the tape ran about 40 cents too slow. There were a couple of tiny gaps that I cut out, as well as an odd "bumping" sound in several places, usually during applause. The tape also had some auto-level artifacts - loud bass would pull down the level of all the other instruments. This was reversed by painstaking manual edits in Sound Forge. A gap in "Wondrous Stories" was removed by quickly cross-fading between the two ragged ends, which smooths out the transition that was probably caused by a tape flip. An abrupt cut in the applause following this song was smoothed out with some transplanted applause from another spot in the tape. The result is one of the best recordings of Yes on the GFTO tour! Notes: 1st Gen Tapes>dat>cd-r>Bias Peak Pro 5.21>XACT>flac Cobo Hall, Detroit-August 17, 1976-1st Gen Tape. These are the remaining Detroit tracks that were NOT INCLUDED on the official releases "Yes Shows" and "The Word is Live." Here are the rest of the songs from this superb 1976 concert. The band obviously thought this was a hot show, because they have released half of it during the past 30 years. The remaining tracks included here have never been officially released. The lineup is the same, except Patrick Moraz is on keyboards, not Rick Wakeman. Excellent, sharp recording! Disc Three: (48:36) 11.I've Seen All Good People 12.Long Distance Runaround/Moraz Solo 13.The Clap 14.Harp Solo 15.Heart Of The Sunrise 16.Roundabout

Notes: Yes Going for the One Tour Cobo Hall Detroit, MI 1977-08-23 The date 7-7-7 marked the 30th anniversary of the release of Going For The One, reuniting the "Classic Yes Line-up," so I thought it would be fun to seed the shows I have in my collection on or near the dates of their 30th anniversaries. This is the second of two nights Yes performed at Detroit's Cobo Hall. It features the first tour performance of their new album's title track, "Going For The One."
