Notes: | This is the famous Bradford, UK Yes show that supposedly is the earliest known recording that contains an interesting version of S outh Side Of The Sky. But what this show is also famous for is that it is probably the worst Yes recording ever! Hence, I expect that only completists will download this for their collection. I got a tape of this back around 1980 from a UK tape trader. He was able to supply me with an abundance of then rare Yes and Wakeman shows from Europe. I finally decided to dig this gem out and give it a listen after about 25 years. It is indeed horrible and so I set to work trying to clean it up in any way I could. it was plagued with distortion and horribly muffled. I spent a few hours monkeying around and finally got it half-way listenable, but its still bad. Surprisingly, it sounds better at low volume. Forgotten Yesterdays website lists this as a 60 minute recording. I've never seen one longer than this one here which is 48 minutes. If anyone has a better version of this then please seed it! lineage: low-gen cassette > PC > SoundForge > CD > FLAC > you | |||||
