Core Sound Binaurals > Battery Box w/bass roll off at 120Hz > Sony MZ-RH910 Hi-MD(HiSP) |
Notes: |
Tool - 2006.06.11
Carling Academy - Glasgow, Scotland
Version 1
media type: FLAC
source: Core Sound Binaurals > Battery Box w/bass roll off at 120Hz > Sony MZ-RH910 Hi-MD(HiSP) > USB > Sonicstage > Wav > Audacity > SonicStage Mastering Studio > Wav > FLAC (verify, align, lvl8)
taper: jadg2
tradestatus: can trade - do not torrent
disc 1 - 11 tracks - 90:07
Notes from taper: The pre-amp on the mini-disc was overloaded, due to very low levels. A pity, but I had a great view of a good show, on the barrier in a 1,500 venue hall. There is one other source for this show, recorded by Ben at the opposite stack, but it is also brickwalled. Please note the volume fluctations during Rosetta Stoned were nothing to do with me.
EQ Notes - Whilst playing around with some eq, I discovered that by removing a lot of the bass below a certain frequency and running what remained through another plug in (Oxford inflator), this source could be cleaned up somewhat. Enjoy.

CSB > CS Battery Box (no bass roll-off - faulty unit) > iRiver H140 (Rockbox) |
Notes: |
Tool - 2006.06.11
Carling Academy - Glasgow, Scotland
Version 2
media type: FLAC
source: CSB > CS Battery Box (no bass roll-off - faulty unit) > iRiver H140 (Rockbox) > WAV 16/44.1 > USB > HDD > Adobe Audition 2.0 > EQ > Normalize > CD Wave > Tracks split
taper: Ben (http://db.etree.org/fourdegreeswarmer)
trade status: can trade
disc 1 - 11 tracks - 93:02
Notes from taper: Todd Fox leaning on my head during Rosetta Stoned, and a security guard shining a torch in my face during Stinkfist meant firstly that I didn't adjust my levels, which were too high, and secondly that I abandonned my position FOS-R after the second song, and while being slightly further back abated my paranoia it also accentuated the already overwhelming bass.
