Notes: REVIEWS - There is absolutely no reason everybody in the world shouldn't own this music. Talk about epic. Truly a once in a lifetime affair, in one of the most spellbinding places on Earth. Gregg-n-Haynes solo acoustic was so unbelievably subtle and touching...tender, crisp...all the adjectives. Haynes perfomed in almost a 'flamingo approach', weaving in and out on leads; all the while alternating between slinky acoustic slide. And Brother Gregg laying down the foundation with his distinctive, almost spooky acoustic style. We flew out from Charleston, SC in hopes of having an opportunity to hear Gregg sing 'These Days'...don't get too many of those. It was one of the most touching times of my life. Thanks Boys. I saw this show/set. It was easily the best acoustic performance I have ever seen! After a soggy night before with the AAB, the crowd was ready for these two legendary performers to shine. Gregg sounded excellent and Warren’s guitar playing was beautiful. This version of Come And Go Blues has got to be the best ever recorded. Then right into Old Before My Time, This version gives me chills every time I hear it. They also performed Jackson Browne’s These Days, again a classic performance. Then on to Soulshine, definitely damn sure better than rain. And finishing the set with Melissa. What a night to remember especially with three sets of Gov’t Mule to follow.
