Everything about the night was better than the night to follow, amazing how much seat location can affect things. I'm not the only one disappointed with seats on the floor, am I? Well, tonight, I was sitting exactly where I would have liked to stand had it been GA. You win some, you lose some. | Notes: | * Master Recording. Pretty good recording overall, despite a precarious taping position. A tall, thick guy stood directly in front of me. This muffles the sound the sound a bit the first song or two while I tried to figure out how to deal with him. To get around him so my mics had a clear sight line to the stacks, I had to lean back and to my right, balancing on 1 foot much of the time. One positive is there weren't too many woo-hooers around me, so the sound is clear and uninterrupted most of the time. Though no 2006 arena Tool show would be complete without people talking during the quiet parts of Wings/10k Days and commenting on how neat they think the lazers are. | |||||
