"Spank Thru" was offically released and has thus been excluded here. The other 5 songs are unsurfaced (and the titles are also unknown). There is also some dialogue from "Reefer Madness" between the first two songs that has been removed here just to be safe. A song titled "Laminated Effect" was described in the old "Come As You Are" book. It has been said that this is Track #3, but Dale Crover claims that the name of that song is "Made Not Born". So the song either had two different titles, or "Laminated Effect" is really one of the 5 unsurfaced songs. The CAYA book also describes a song titled "Buffy's Pregnant". However, the song containing this lyric also contains a lyric described in the "Heavier Than Heaven" book as belonging to a song called "Class Of '85". The title "Class Of '86" appears on a J-card (from an edited and unheard tape) at this position in the demo, so it is believed that "Class Of '86" is the correct title of this song. There is also a song listed on the j-card as "Blather's Log" which is believed to either be Unknown Song #7 or an early title for "Downer", based on it's position in the tracklisting. --------------------------- Compiled, edited, and remastered by JWB THIS EDITED VERSION OF MY REMASTER IS ONLY TO BE TORRENTED ON WEBSITES THAT DO NOT ALLOW OFFICIAL CONTENT. Notes: Kurt Cobain & Dale Crover 3 Songs From "Fecal Matter" Demo (JWB REMASTER) ------------------------ 01 The Sound Of Dentage 02 Bambi Slaughter 03 Laminated Effect LINEAGE: ANA(X)>MP3>WAV>FLAC (Level 8) NOTES: These files were posted on MySpace for approximately a half an hour one day. I was one of the few people to caputre these MP3's as WAV files. Besides remastering the audio, I also edited out some dead air from between the tracks. I would have posted the raw WAV captures as well but I can't seem to find them, so my remaster will have to do. These files are straight from the original MP3 to WAV (recorded with CoolEdit) and they were not re-encoded like the files that originally circulated. I don't like trading lossy files at all but people are asking for the lowest gen possible, and who knows when the person who posted the MySpace files will come to his senses and release the whole thing in lossless. This is the best I can do for now. Captured & Remastered by JWB. THESE ARE LOSSY FILES! DO NOT TRADE AS LOSSLESS! STOP THE HOARDING!

Notes: These two songs are fragments from the infamous Fecal Matter tape. This was directly recorded from an uploaded file on MySpace. It seems that the music was recorded from a stereo with an open mic. The track names are the one's posted on MySpace. Rumors say Track 1 is actually "Sound Of Dentage" and Track 2 is "Blathers Log". This is open to debate though. This recording has been verified by Mike Ziegler as being the original Fecal Matter recording.
