Notes: STRING CHEESE INCIDENT 11/29/1997 East High Auditorium - Salt Lake City, UT Source SBD> DAT> CASS> WAV> SHN DISC 1 - Set 1: 01. San Jose 02. 100 Year Flood> 03. Jam> 04. Whiskey Before Breakfast 05. Born on the Wrong Planet 06. Good Times Around the Bend 07. Blue Bossa > 08. Jellyfish> 09. Black Clouds COMMENTS: -There are some increasing soundboard glitches as the set goes on. -This show is erroneously listed on FOC.com as occuring at the Wasatch Events Center. The show was originally scheduled to occur there, but the place was closed down, and so the show was moved at the last minute, after the tickets had been printed. -I have only the cassette, which I received from Michael Kauffman. The show was definitely recorded onto DAT, as the beginning of Side B of the cassette tape was backed up to a point before where Side A ran out. -I have only Set 1. Rumor has it that the Set 2 tape did not turn out. Maybe JonO has a copy. I believe Ian Skomsky was the sole taper this night. -My first Incident. It's not hard to see why I immediately fell in love with this band. :-) The stage was decorated with those giant batiks that we never see anymore. There were perhaps 200 people in attendance. -Russ [email protected] [email protected]
