Older recording, so not as crisp as it would be if it were done today, but it's still a professional radio broadcast, and it sounds fantastic. This was sourced from vinyl at some point, because there are a few LP crackles, but they are only really noticable on one son, and there is a gap where the side change occurs. There is also a radio intro at the beginning of the show, and another reminder mid-set, but it never interferes with the music. The only real flaw is that there are clicks between a couple of tracks at the beginning, and full-on gaps between tracks on the last three songs. I don't know why the hell this is, because the middle portion of the show doesn't have gaps or clicks. Still, all in all, this is a great document, and the performance is awesome. Fantastic disc. |
