Notes: First shot of a series of audience recordings I've made during the very nice Primavera Sound festival 2 weeks ago in Barcelona, Spain (Smashing Pumpkins, Blonde Redhead, The Fall, Pelican, Isis, Sonic Youth, Malajube). Most of these recordings were made in open-air stages, near the seashore, so there was a lot of wind at times; some heavy phasing sometimes occurs, even though the mics are omni ones. A very annnoying detail at this festival is that people there are VERY talkative. Even only meters away from the PA stacks, people were talking loudly as if they were at a party, not really paying attention... This is very disturbing especially during the acoustic part of this show. The recording sound is decent, but not really a must-have. Another recording of this show was circulated here, it seems better than mine to me, so I've uploaded mine just for the sake of completeness. A PA breakdown occurred just at the beginning of song #3 (Stand Inside Your Love). Went back on around 1'45.
Tulum (5/0) CDR / 2 View   DAUD > At943 > SD MP-2 > Iriver120 (16 bits, 44.1kHz)
Notes: * Sound missed from the stage at first of the song (stand inside your love) I have tried to diminish the noises of audience like clapping or fried like hyenas ;-) It's part of the game. I named the files how I split for to record in to cd's.
