Sony ECM-719 > Sony MZ-RH 1 |

Taper Notes:
Recording from front arena (10 m from the stage). Crowd banter can be heard in-between songs and during quiet parts. During the show there was some heavy bouncing, audible on a few songs. Compared to my Hamburg recording, the circumstances for recording were suboptimal, since I was in the middle of the crowd and there was a lot of moving (bouncing, dancing) around me, so there are a few loud parts I'm not really content with, on the other hand Cedric's vocals sound more powerful, so overall I'd say it's pretty enjoyable.
On the recording the first minute of Pre-Cygnus is missing due to changing discs, I filled this gap with another recording of the show, that adam122 from the Coma did (thank you!).
The Cologne show is another great performance of the band during their past European tour leg, almost hitting the 3 hour mark. Things to take note of: Nice intros to some songs, Goliath and Pre-Agadez are really funky, Cedric's vocal acrobatics are just kick-ass, and we got a beautiful acoustic version of Asilos Magdalena, unfortunately Miranda was skipped because of talking in the audience, but if they had played it, the 3 hour mark would have been exceeded. If I'm not mistaken Cologne was the last venue they played Asilos and Baphomets (up to now, who knows what the future might bring).
This time I also included some pictures and cover art. Feel free to use it or post something you made. Please do not convert the recording to mp3 unless for personal use. And please do not sell.
Visit the Comatorium (http://www.thecomatorium.com/forum/) for pictures, reviews and more from the show, including Adam's recording (released in mp3).
Enjoy

* This is a re-tracked version of the original release. Re-tracked with the original WAV files
* It was re-tracked so that any intro longer than 1 minute is its own track. |
