A terrific show capping off a two-night stay here in Toronto, the first two night stay of many on their 20th anniversary tour. This recording came out much better than it did the previous night and yes, as many of you suspected, the problem was AGC. smashing0 pointed the problem out to me and thanks to him, I have this gem to share with you. I want to thank you smashin0 for that, and I want to thank Eric Agnew for giving me a Heavy Metal Machine Promo Cassette. I really enjoyed that they played Gossamer, I was really hoping for that one.
There was a, shall we say, "rumour" before the show that the band was working on something really special during soundcheck. As a parting gift, the band left us with a pretty amazing performance of I Am One Part II. This song dates way back to the Real Time Sessions in 1989, a full two years prior to the release of their first album, Gish. This is the first time IAMPII has ever been played live. Muzzle was on the setlist just before this amazing finisher but wasn't played.
Other notes worthy of mention:
This was the first post-hiatus performances of Cupid de Locke, Soma, Bodies, Crestfallen, I of the Mourning, Landslide, Galapogos, and Age of Innocence.
