Notes: | Pat's guitar is a little too far back in the mix, otherwise it's a very good recording and performance.

Notes: | Pat Metheny was born in Kansas City on August 12, 1954. Starting on trumpet at the age of 8, Metheny switched to guitar at age 12. By the age of 15, he was working regularly with the best jazz musicians in Kansas City, receiving valuable on-the-bandstand experience at an unusually young age. He has a way of playing and improvising that is modern in conception but grounded deeply in the jazz tradition of melody, swing, and blues. He is recognized as being one of the world?s most innovative jazz guitarists. He is joined here by Larry Grenadier (Bass) and Bill Stuart (Drums). Thanks Miles
