On august 10th, 1998 (day of Ian's birthday) took place the first Jethro Tull Convention in Uruguay.
Ian was invited to assist, but it was impossible for him, instead he was very kindly to send a CD with a spoken message to the fans of the Convention, and also includes here a home recording of some JT songs, together with a couple of unreleased (until that moment) songs that will be later (more than one year later!) released in their solo album The Secret Language of Birds.
