This is NOT the four-song promotional CD given out with purchase of the Counting Crows album "This Desert Life", at Best Buy stores in the USA on the day of release, November 2, 1999. It is, however, the entire set that the LP was taken from.
Although part of this show is an 'official release', manufactured by Geffen Records, it can better be classified as an 'official bootleg.' Much like "By the Time We Got to Woodstock" and "Face the Promised Land." This conclusion was made because of the rarity of this disc, and the policies on bootlegs and concert tapes expressed by the members of the band on various occasions during interviews and encounters with fans.
