Notes: BBC Sight and Sound concert. Short (about 40 mins.) show. Jackson ditches the punk-rocker persona and puts some sophistication into his songs and performance. This is from the "Night and Day" tour where he has a new band and brings in some synths, latin rhythms, a touch of jazz and even re-makes "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" into a doo wop number.

Notes: Aaah, gotta love those syths. This is the first I've heard of Joe Jackson, but it is quite catchy and entertaining stuff.
