This is one of my favorite tapes ever. It's one of those shows that seem to be the perfect mix of good set list, good jams, and superb playing. Well.... imho anyway. I got this tape from Jon Berk (aka Bubba) in '87 but I never knew who had the master. I've also never seen an AUD copy of this show. If you know of a master out there anywhere, please let us know.
This is the first time I have used the noise reduction features of Cool Edit Pro on a tape. After making several 'noise profiles' and doing many test runs, I finally got the settings to a point where I was pleased with the overall sound of the music while gaining some noticable improvements in background hiss. I included an extra file at the end of the set (the 'zz' file) that has no NR on it for comparison.
