| Notes: | This was my third time at this festival, I have recorded each time I have been there but this is the first recording I have shared from these 3 visits. The PA is fantastic, one of the best sounds I have ever encountered at an outdoor festival, however and its a big however. The festical site is located right by the aterfront and as such the area is prone to swirling sea breezes. These range from gentle cooling breezes to very strong gusts. This night was unfortunately one of the windier ones, as a result the raw recording of this was affected quite badly. There was also a fair bit of chatter between songs, but during the quieter tracks the audience showed and decent amount of control and respect, and occaisonallyyou can hear the crunching of plastic glasses on the concrete floor When the indoor shows from May started filtering through here on DIME, I noticed there seemed to be a collective effort to get what shows were recorded out there with or without necessary remastering applied. I contacted a few of those DIME members who appearded to be involved and offered them my recording as and when I returned. I know we have the full broadcast out there now and Im sure many of us have stripped the audio from that, so some may ask why the need for this to shared? Well I may not be a full collector of Radiohead recordings, but a lot of people are. I have downloaded many shows from here and other similar sights and since I have started recording I feel its only right to try and offer something back. Finally the incredible effort and hardwork that was put into this remaster, I cant thank 4INEZNYC and the team involved enough. IMHO I think the music captured in the raw recording was of a good enough quality to warrant a try at clearing out some of the flwas, the result is remarkable. | |||||
