editor’s comments: Here comes another gem for you folks! Wonderful show and a beautiful tape to go with it. The gig was great, with about a 3rd of a setlist changing completely from n1. The sound is fantastic - I barely touched it - a couple of screams and some overly enthusiastic clapper had to go ;)
At my end, this was another 24-hour queue cycle with 2 hrs of sleep stuck somewhere in there, another camping with homeless people by Penn Station getting to know Radiohead fans close and personal, another fine, truly outstanding care and attention from MSG staff headed by a wonderful little lady named Jeannie - complete with donuts and water served to the queue at 9AM sharp… - and despite the level of exhaustion from sleep deprivation and stress, I was a happy camper (quite literally!) as it was THE ONLY night of the MSG run when I did NOT have to procure 3-level ticket retrieval and exchanges ‘the day of’ lol So what’s there not to love? ENJOY another fine record :) A pic of the setlist and ticket included
Immeasurable thanks go to Inez for the ticket help and Josh for the accommodations and hospitality. Without the assistance these two provided, this recording would not have materialized.
Additional shout out to my friend S at MSG for the additional floor bracelet and to D from CA whose path couldn't have crossed with mine in a more serendipitous way.
This show had a much better flow than night one and as a result I enjoyed it considerably more. There were a fair amount of alternates from n1 played yet it remained clear they were still holding back. Solid gig. This jaded vet gives it a 7.5/10 |
