Notes: |
Long show by the Pumkpins. Certainly a cash-grab tour, but I'll give them credit for diving in on the setlist. If you're a Pumpkins fan, you'll get your moneys worth. Pacing is a bit off at times but they're sticking with it.
I originally had front row balcony sidestage. However, the show didn't sell all that well, so they closed off four upper deck sections on each side of the stage. As such, I was "upgraded" to lower level side stage, row 15. Although I would have much rather just kept the upper deck front row, but such is life.
Recording Notes:
Basically a pretty solid and clear stack tape. The bass is somewhat muddy, but I'm inclined to say that's party of just the house mix of a basketball arena. There's not a ton of general crowd noise, but there was a fair amount of nearby screamers and whistlers. I was able to zap and get rid of most of them, so it shouldn't be too intrusive. |
