Notes: Only has the "Fridays" performance from The Elder Intro The Oath A World Without Heroes I End of Show Recorded at ABC studios Los Angeles Dec 81, broadcasted Jan 82. Extras: Entertainment Tonight: San Remo / Studio 54 report Americas Top 40: Interview Promo Video: A World Without Heroes Flo & Eddie: KISS Circus 22 minutes Comments: Best video quality of the Fridays show were KISS prefomed 3 tracks live from the Elder album. The only live performance of Elder material from the period. I'm a bit bias but it's no overstatment that this is the DVD to have if you want this rare apperance. I masterd this set from KISSvision Remaster's Edition "The Elder Media Collection". On that relese were some more clips but the Fridays show is what's it all about. The show had two endings, I only used the second version. I think that one was not broadcasted as it has some more bite, you'll see. There were a interview clip by Flo & Eddie also, I didn't include that one cos it's nothing to see realy. Two lards as Talk Show hosts goofing around only. You see them in the KISS Circus clip. The Top 40 interview is much better, also it's with all members. A World Without Heroes promo video were from another source as it's better then what was on the KISSvision relese. Edit: I copy the vob files to hdd, extracted to mpg with VideoReDO. Trimmed the edges and balanced the collours in TMPGEnc. Open the new DVD mpg and recut the video with MGI VideoWave III, saved as DV avi. Separated the audio with Goldwave, gave the sound some boosts and polish. Rejoined the audio and video with a second run in TMPGEnc, this time saving as DVD. Made DVD menu in Photoshop before importing to Encore. The Menu have 3 audio tracks, two demo versions of "Just a Boy" and a demo of "Dark Light" ("Don't Run"). There is a short intro video with highlights from the clips. The video were saved as NTSC standard at all times. Cover art made by me with Photoshop.
