Notes: | I have the artwork. Total Time - 59:01 "Show Your Love" is actually "I'm The One" from VH1. "Voodoo Queen" contains some of the main riffs from "Mean Streets" from Fair Warning, but with different vocals. "Last Night" is basically the same music as "Hang 'Em High" from Diver Down, with a few minor differences and different vocals. "Get the show on the road": this song has a great riff behind it... very hard. Contains vocal elements from "Romeo Delight." "Babe don't leave me alone": another unreleased original, doesn't contain any elements from anything else they've released either. "Big Trouble": Another original. "She's The Woman": Contains some riffs from "Mean Streets." "Put Out The Lights": great grinding riff behind this one. Doesn't contain any elements from released songs. The most amusing part of this disc is listening to Dave introduce the band in Track 11 at the Hilton. This show was from back in their early days, and it just sounded crazy to hear him say, "Yeah, for those of you who just walked in, we're Van Halen." "Women In Love": This is NOT the same as "Women in Love..." on VHII. The chorus itself sounds somewhat the same and some of the lyrics match, but the music is different. It's got a style that definitely doesn't sound like VH...more like some sort of '70's pop music or something. |
