Roy Martin\'s Music Collection (5/5) FLAC / 0 View   2nd gen tape of soundboard source (H057 & I057)
Notes: Lineage: 2nd gen cassettes > wav(24/96) > wav (16/44) > flac Incomplete but excellent+ sounding recording. This is a brand new transfer done from Sean_the_bootlegger's cassettes which are the root set for every copy and bootleg source of this particular soundboard fragment in general circulation. These are as of November 2009 the lowest gen circulating set of cassettes. Concerning the generation of the cassettes they have been called everything from 1st gens to 3rd gens, I am calling them as they are stated by the documentation Sean provided me a copy of from the person he originally received the tapes from. Your actual generational lineage mileage may vary but the fact these cassettes are the root tapes are not in question. This copy has been mastered to remove some excess hiss and panning correction applied to recenter the stereo signal. No eqing or alteration was done to the music itself.
Roy Martin\'s Music Collection (5/5) FLAC / 0 View   96kHz version of 2nd gen tape of soundboard source (I057)
Notes: Lineage: 2nd gen cassettes > wav(24/96) > flac Transfer Equipment: Revox B-215 > Pro Tools DAW done December 2008 Incomplete but excellent+ sounding recording. Your actual generational lineage mileage may vary but the fact these cassettes are the root tapes are not in question. This is my personal mastered listening copy consisting a bit of use of a multiband compressor and parametric equalizing to bring the music up front and remove some of the excess tape noise in recording. The raw transfer is available for those that don't like this sort of thing.
