Notes: Amazing set list full of oddities and rarities: 1) China Cat > Rider opens. This was fairly common in the early 70's and happened on 3.16.73. Then it didn't happen again until fall '79 when it happened three times. This was the second of those three. Then it only happened again twice, once each in '83 and '86. 2) Eyes > Estimated...By 1979, the reverse -- Estimated > Eyes -- was common fare. It made its debut on 5.7.77 (Boston) and was performed 13 more times that year before Eyes > Estimated appeared the first time (11.4.77). Eyes > Estimated did not reappear again until this show and then was put in the closet again for more than 10 years. It was resurrected in 1990 and became relatively common in the final years. But this show represented only the second Eyes > Estimated and the last one until the 90s. 3) Eyes > Estimated > Franklin's. Turn that list around (Franklin's > Estimated > Eyes) and you've got a fairly common set. But Eyes > Estimated > Franklin's happened only once -- at this show. It lasted for nearly an hour! Great show.

Notes: Sources: SBD : MC > C > DAT > CD and AUD : MC (Nakamichi CM300 mics > Nakamichi 550) > C2 > CDR supplies first 0:05 of "Stagger Lee"(d1t06), a patch in "Estimated Prophet"(d2t04) from 1:49 thru 2:09, as well as from 4:50 of "Lost Sailor"(d3t03) thru the end of the show. Note: the original transcription was off-speed, approx. 4.5% slow, this version has been speed-corrected. Yet another Winter '79 gem, in all it's patched/speed corrected glory. Enjoy! Patching/CD Mastering by Scott Clugston SHN'ed by Scott Clugston Circulated 12/20/00 Additional editing by Alan J. Fink using Cool Edit on 2/18/02 AUD : MC (Nakamichi CM300 mics > Nakamichi 550) > C2 > CDR supplies a patch in "Estimated Prophet"(d2t04) from 7:03:934 thru 7:04:914 "Franklin's Tower" (d2t05) overlap from 9:28:138 thru 9:38:720 removed "Jam" (d2t06) overlap from 1:12:676 thru 1:13:031 removed Sector boundary errors fixed by [email protected] for d2t04 & d2t05. Track markers moved for d2t06 & all zero-bytes removed from end (not cut on SB).
