Notes: sbd w/ wier fix - Set 1 is standard for this tour, songs consistently well played. The mix is a bit unbalanced at times (some instruments and voices low or missing) but overall acceptable. Set 2 has the somewhat unusual ordering of Eyes > Estimated > Franklin's. The transition into Franklin's is direct. Each song is jammed typically for this era. There are some cool bass notes by Lesh out of space, but the rest of the show are pro-forma renditions. Another solid show played in typical style for this period without exceptional high moments making this specially worth seeking out.

Notes: Set 2 sbd - [2005-09-23] The sound quality on this is very good with a nice mix and plenty of Phil. The set statrs with two sort of throwaway songs (ALthea, Easy To Love You). Then there is a strong Eyes > Estimate > Franklin's which not only mixes up the usual order of tunes bu is jammed out for almost one hour. The other nice things is that the aft end of set 2 has a Sailor > Saint which I prefer vs the overplayed in 79 Miracle > Bertha > Lovin'.

Notes: Recording by Joel Barnehama: Master Audience Cassette; 2 Sennheiser 421s + Sennheiser 441> Nakamichi 550 [2007-05-06] Nice snapshot of Fall 79. Set 1 starts with a C>R, Cassidy's jam is maturing nicely. TMNS to end leaves the crowd buzzed. Set 2 has the reversed Eyes -> Estimated -> Franklin's -> Jam-> and the ballad slot is held by a Bobby trifecta here with a Sailor-> Saint -> Sugar Magnolia. The Sugar Magnolia similar to TMNS that buzzes the crowd with a repetitive refrain. Good sound quality but the spectrum is large so it does sound further back than the smaller venues of this era - no distracting crowd.
