Metallica ??/??/82
The Real No Life Till Leather/Night Of Rivit-Heads, Various, Various
Set I
"The Real No Life Till Leather"
Tracks 1-7: July 6, 1982 "No Life Till Leather" Demo
Tracks 8-11: April 1982 "Power Metal" Demo
Tracks 12-13: March 16, 1983 "Whiplash-No Remorse" Demo

1. Motorbreath
2. The Mechanix
3. Jump In The Fire
4. Seek And Destroy
5. Phantom Lord
6. Metal Militia
7. Hit The Lights
8. Hit The Lights
9. The Mechanix
10. Motorbreath
11. Jump In The Fire
12. Whiplash
13. No Remorse

Notes: Apparently these recordings came from a 1st-2nd gen of Lars' master 3/4" reel, at least thats what the rumor is and who wouldn't agree? The quality on these demos is amazing and is the best you probably will ever find in the un-official environment. The track order is also correct here. The Whiplash-No Remorse demos are the only recordings featuring Dave and Cliff together.
Set II
"Night Of Rivvit-Heads"

Tracks 1-8: October 18, 1982 Live At The Old Waldorf, San Francisco, California
Tracks 9-12: April 1982, "Power Metal" Demo
Tracks 13-14: Fake Live Tracks Used As B-Sides To The Jump In The Fire Single and the Whiplash Single
Track 15: "Riff Tracks"

1. Hit The Lights
2. The Mechanix
3. Phantom Lord
4. Jump In The Fire
5. Motorbreath
6. No Remorse
7. Seek And Destroy
8. Metal Militia
9. Hit The Lights
10. The Mechanix
11. Motorbreath
12. Jump In The Fire
13. Seek And Destroy
14. Phantom Lord
15. Riff Tracks

Note: The live show featured here is a pure SBD recording, unfortunately the mix is very awkward. Vocals and drums are very upfront and guitars are pushed extremely far back. Nevertheless, it is extremely clear and this is THE best source you will find for this show. All other bootlegs were sourced from this recording.

Power Metal Demos are on this CD as well and the quality is a little different than the versions on "The Real No Life Till Leather," which are a little better than these here. I just didn't want to release an incomplete cd.

Seek And Destroy and Phantom Lord were recorded in a studio and later dubbed with fake live crowd chatter and used as live B-sides on the Jump In The Fire EP overseas and the Whiplash EP in America. These tracks feature none of the crowd noise present on the B-side versions.

The "Riff Tracks" are a bit misleading, as its just a short clip of James and Lars talking while playing the same riff over and over.
