All the evidence points to the 01 November show in Albury, with the error a result of confusion over the different US/European approaches to written dates. Apart from the omission of "Leave Me Alone", this show has the same setlist as the Sydney concert a couple of days previously. The existence of this soundboard recording implies that the other shows might also have been recorded, but if they were, copies have not circulated to my knowledge. While the recording quality isn't quite in the same league as the Stockholm 74 show it's still an excellent recording, and vastly better than the audience recording from Sydney. I think this is (another) great concert. Lou's vocals sound slurred and "detached", but I think that only enhances the "wasted but still coming" ambience which is typical of these 1977 shows. The addition of a backup vocalist is a sign of things to come for the "Street Hassle" 1978 shows - I particularly like this arrangement of "Coney Island Baby", with a nice intimate vocal from Lou. Included with torrent files: scan of 1977 Australian Tour Programme. I could be wrong, but I think that's Rachel who can be seen just behind Lou on page 10. The afficionados out there will also recognise the name of one of the promoters - Ron Blackmore. This is presumably the same Ron Blackmore who previously had to face the local press when Lou abandoned his 1975 Australasian tour..... To the best of my knowledge, Australia was the only country to produce a programme for the 1977 tour - in fact Australia produced nice programmes for each of Lou's "down under" tours. I wish other coutries had done the same. Distribute widely but do not sell! Give copies to all your friends!
