| Notes: | This is my second version of this show - the Capt Skipper remaster. Hiss and unnecessary treble have been reduced (there isn't a great deal of high end on the original recording, except for audience noise) and the bass (which was close to overpowering on my original copy) has also had a certain amount of EQ rolled-off it, making it much tighter & less boomy. The end result is excellent - the band is much more "present" & upfront on this version, and the overall ambience of the tape is now akin to a slightly flat & boxy-sounding SBD recording; a considerable improvement to the old version, and much easier & more enjoyable to listen to. | |||||
