Jerry Jeff Walker opened the show, and he and David did the final encores together.  David had toured with Jerry Jeff back in the \'60\'s, but they hadn\'t seen each other in years.

The David Bromberg DataBase lists this show in 1986.  But besides witnessing it myself I have lots of documentation showing this is the correct year.

I was promoter rep for this show, and I asked David during load-in if I could record.  He said no, due to the fact that the group had not recorded together yet.  During sound check, David stopped and asked what I would record with.  After I told him, he said I could record if I got a copy of the tapes to him before he left town.  By time I got to the hotel the next morning, he was gone.  He finally has his copy!

I re-tranfered the master tapes in April 2009 using the Nakamichi Dragon > Techtron cables > Olympus LS-10 > 24bit/48000hz PCM.  Then, in November 2009 I mastered them to optimize the recording quality.

I hope someone can prove me wrong on this, but this is the only recording of David and Jerry Jeff together that I know of.

Another installment in the Demon in Disguise Project.  Thanks Candleman!
