REVIEW NOTES: (Shaun Funk/Tom Strauss)

DSBD>DAT>CDR>WAV>MKWAct>.shn
Nice sounding source from an older show. Very enjoyable. Text
file omits the banter track ( track 6) on disc 1. Tracks are
lacking track numbers in info file as well. Slightly annoying, but
easily fixed.
I found a few nits but the biggest issue is a level adjustment
in the first track. Sounds like the taper turned the knob the
wrong direction and quickly corrected the mistake, but not before
your ears are blasted with
distortion. This is a nasty flaw. Given the age of the show, and
the otherwise fairly well done recording, I?d have to say it?s
probably the best we are going to do. For all we know this might
have been the only tape
pulled.
Nits:
D1t1 2:11 2:17 Level way up to the point of overload and then
back down.
D1t4 0:00 track mark
D1t5 6:35 slight crackle
D1t9 0:00 track mark
D1t10 9:00 light scritch
D2t1 2:45 level up
I have to give it a thumbs up, even though that level adjustment
in d1t1 is horrendous.
Have fun,
Shaun Funk

Review:
I would agree with Shawn's evaluation. The short record
level flaws at the start of each set is indeed annoying, but it is
short. If anyone has a another copy of this show with out the
level jump that would be nice, but should not hold up the
approval.
Yes the track list could use some help. There is not a track
that is just drums. (this is from memory).
And yes I have been enjoying this little gem of a show from an
unusual stop for SCI. Probably the only appearance in Gallup. I
give it a thumbs up.
