09/10/2016 TWATTS "I'm quite sure I got the SBM1 in October '96, the first show being WSP @ the Barrymore http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=584289 The ADC here would be a Sony D8.

This version sounds like the one edited by my housemate's GF Julie back in '96/97 to remove pops from preamp overload and also has dynamic range compression."
