04/11/2004 | Tom Penn | By far the best Dew ever played.

Mr. Blank must be an even more annoying Deadhead than the one who climbed the fence on 8/6/74 during "Eyes." I've heard good things about this "Dew" elsewhere. If this source is all it's cracked up to be, I intend to hear it here as well. A front row balcony Sennheiser certainly bodes well. |

i dont get it. it looks like there are only 2 discs here, which are just set two. so why are the filenames d2t01, d2t02, d2t03...., d3t06, d3t07, etc...? are there three discs here? it appears that there are only two, in which case the filenames make no sense and are misleading. just because its only set two of the show doesnt mean that the filenames should start with d2. |

04/12/2004 | How come if someone posts that they like something it's okay but if they say something sucks, it gets deleted? This show sucks.
04/12/2004 | Mark Goldey | Comments critical of the quality of a recording or performance are encouraged, not deleted. Trolling, personal attacks, off-topic comments, and nonsense are removed. To distinguish yourself from such, include reasons and explanation ("this show sucks because . . . .")
04/12/2004 | Ken | I remember attending this show. I'd love to get a copy of it. I sat in the Balcony probably not to far from where this was recorded. The lawn that day was packed. I think there were over 60,000 people in attendance.
04/12/2004 | Ken | I remember there was a break where the PA went out and Jerry played acoustic guitar for the first few rows until they fixed the problem.
04/14/2004 | Lewis/Klitschko |
I listened to this "Dew." It's not bad, it has some nice dynamics. Jerry's voice is a far cry that that exhibited in the '73 "Dews." (He's singing some wrong notes.) I take it that in the '80s, you don't listen for Jerry's singing anymore or even the overall tone of the band, just the lead guitar playing. I wonder what the soundboard source of 6/18/83 sounds like? P.S. I love '72-'74 like it was your sister's ass. |

02/28/2005 | jg | allen, i can see what you mean, but i actually think that it is easier this way to realize for archiving purposes what set, discs, and/or tracks you have. just my .02.
06/04/2008 | charlie miller | I called the tracks d2 and d3 so I wouldn't have two disc ones. I have the first set from a different source. |
