02/13/2002 Marcus T I'd this lineage definately has a cass gen in it. You
can hear audible hiss during the tune-ups. Sounds great
though...
03/21/2003 Charles There are random bursts of probably FM transmission between several tracks. Perhaps this is not really pre-FM, but is FM or possibly an IEM and includes station-ID-like checks at various points - the last few seconds of d1t4 (~5secs), d1t6 (~15s), d1t8 (5s). There's about 1.5sec of silence at 5:32 of d1t6, followed by strange test tones. The signal also appears compressed, typical for FM transmission.
